The FCS II CI Upright Tri-Quad 5-Fin Set is designed with Channel Islands for surfers who want speed, control, and quick direction changes. Its upright template allows for snappier turns and faster transitions, making it ideal for tight pocket surfing. As a Tri-Quad (5-fin) setup, it offers versatility. Use the thruster for precision and the quad for added speed and hold.
The Performance Core (PC) construction ensures a lively, responsive feel underfoot. Compared to the FCS II Al Merrick Tri-Quad Fin Set, which has a more raked template for drawn-out carves and added stability, the CI Upright is better suited for quick, reactive surfing and fast transitions.
When paired with the Channel Islands Better Every Day board, this setup excels across a range of conditions, providing a dynamic mix of manoeuvrability and speed. Perfect for surfers looking to push their performance. Overall, the CI Upright Tri-Quad set is suited to boards with the more relaxed rocker.
